Claire Louise is an artist and designer from Durham in the North East.

From a young age, Claire was immersed in arts and crafts, beginning the creative journey that continues to define her work today.

Using watercolour pencil and ink, Claire creates detailed illustrations that are translated into gifts, homeware, fashion accessories, and bespoke designs. Her passion for design led her to study fashion, graduating in 2007 with First Class honours. That same year, her hand-painted silk scarves were shortlisted for London Fashion Week, and she was recognised in the Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC) Textile & Colour Award at Graduate Fashion Week.

This early recognition set the stage for a career blending illustration, design, and fine craftsmanship across multiple creative industries.
